Trainees are responsible for finding their own accommodation. For each training, we set up a private Facebook group for trainees to meet, share resources and connect with potential roommates. Most trainees find accommodations through websites like airbnb craigslist, vrbo, homeaway, padmapper, flipkey or through other sites by searching “vacation rentals”. Here is some further advice on accommodations from previous trainees:
- find a place walking distance to the studio if possible (unless you have a car or bike)
- arrive at least 1 day before training, and stay at least 1-2 days after training! Having to scramble around with tons of luggage and deal with cleaning up and the emotional goodbye's was pretty tough.
- make sure you have a kitchen and a washer/dryer
- do not book with OMG Travel. Very poor customer service and inflated prices
