Once an applicant/applicants are approved and have signed the Franchise Agreement, they will receive access to the Moksha/Modo Yoga Studio Operations Manual.
This manual is a step-by-step 'how to' program, that takes the studio owner from goal setting, through a brief course in entrepreneurship and a general picture of the role of a studio owner.
The Manual also includes information on negotiating a lease, instructions on finding a contractor and going through the construction process, construction supplies, and distributors with their contacts. Instructions on day to day operations including teacher and manager communication and salary, studio pricing, scheduling, bookkeeping, database management, advertising ideas and recommendations and student interactions.
Retail information including contact information for products such as hot yoga clothing lines, mats, water bottles, environmental cleaning supplies are also included.
The operations manual also takes the studio owner through marketing ideas to foster a happy healthy hot yoga community. Start-up and ongoing marketing ideas are detailed.
An appendix of operations documents include: waiver of liability, sign-in sheet, bookkeeping tracking documents, sample job descriptions to help with finding an appropriate manager, examples of signs placed around the studio to communicate with students, staff evaluation forms and more.
